Privacy Policy
This policy explains how HGE Community, operated by vansWorld, handles information when you use hgediscord.com and its community features.

1. Information we handle
- Account and profile information. Registration and sign-in use your email address, authentication credentials and account identifier. Your profile can include your display name, biography, avatar, membership plan and visibility preferences.
- Content you provide. This includes posts, comments, uploaded media, messages, saved projects and documents, and information you send to support. The audience for community content depends on the feature and the visibility choices you make. Messages are stored to deliver conversations; do not assume messaging is end-to-end encrypted.
- AI requests. When you use AI features, the prompts, conversation context and any material you submit for processing are used to generate responses. HGE AI stores conversation history associated with your account so it can be retrieved on another device.
- Subscriptions and purchases. We handle membership status, transaction references and related information needed to confirm access. PayPal processes payments and handles payment information under its own policies.
- Mailing-list information. If you voluntarily subscribe, we store the email address you provide, a related account identifier when available, and subscription-source information.
- Site activity and device information. Signed-in page visits and certain actions can be recorded with an account email, display name, page, action details and time for activity and monitoring features. Browser storage also holds session information, preferences and some activity data. Requests to our servers and service providers expose connection information such as IP address, browser details and requested URLs.
Only provide information you are entitled to share. Avoid entering passwords, full payment-card details, Social Security numbers or unnecessary sensitive information into posts, messages, support requests or AI prompts.
2. How information is used and shared
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, provide purchased access, deliver community features and AI responses, save your work, respond to requests, administer the service, address abuse and send updates you subscribed to.
- Hosting and account services: HGE operates a self-hosted Supabase backend for authentication, database records and file storage. Hosting and infrastructure services process information needed to deliver the site.
- Payments: PayPal processes transactions. Payment services receive the information required for checkout, verification and subscription management.
- AI processing: AI features can send requests and relevant content to external AI providers. HGE AI uses DeepSeek; other integrated AI tools may use different providers. Review the information shown in the tool you use and do not submit material you do not want processed by that provider.
- Public and shared features: Content you make public or share with another member is available to that audience. Other people may copy or retain information you share with them.
- Embedded media and external sites: Music, video and other embeds or links can connect your browser to third-party services. Those services may receive your IP address, device information and interaction data, and apply their own privacy and cookie policies.
- Administration and legal needs: Information may be accessed to operate the service, investigate misuse, respond to support requests, comply with applicable legal obligations or protect the rights and safety of users and the service.
Advertising-related processing is described below. This policy does not cover third-party websites, payment services or software you choose to use separately.
3. Google advertising and cookies
HGE Community uses Google AdSense to support advertising on eligible public content. Google and other advertising partners may collect, receive, share and use information as a result of ad serving, including IP addresses, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, pages visited and interactions with advertising.
Third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies in your browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers, as a result of advertising on this site. These technologies can support ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted and based on the required consent, personalized advertising. Advertising cookies may use visits to this site and other sites to help select ads.
Read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services for details about Google's data collection and use.
Our own browser storage supports sign-in, account preferences, saved interface settings and remembering whether you dismissed or completed the mailing-list invitation. Blocking or clearing storage may sign you out or reset these settings.
4. Your choices and requests
- Advertising preferences: Visit Google My Ad Center to manage Google's personalized advertising settings. You can also review participating companies' interest-based advertising choices through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool. These choices do not necessarily remove all advertising or stop all data collection.
- Consent messages: Where an advertising consent message is shown, use its consent, refusal and management controls. Revisit the consent or privacy settings made available by that message to change or withdraw your choices. Contact us if you need help finding those controls. Available choices depend on the service and applicable requirements.
- Browser controls: Your browser can block or remove cookies and local storage. These controls may affect site functionality and may need to be applied separately on each device or browser.
- Profile and content: Use available account, visibility and content controls to update information or manage what you share. Deleting something from your view may not remove copies retained by recipients or other users.
- Mailing list: Use an unsubscribe option provided in a message or email us to request removal from the mailing list.
- Privacy rights: Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict particular uses. Send your request to vansworld1987@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the request. Applicable exceptions and legal obligations may limit what we can remove or provide.
A request to delete an account does not by itself cancel a PayPal subscription. Manage cancellation through PayPal or contact us for help, as explained in our Refund Policy.
5. Retention and security
Retention depends on the type of information, the feature involved, your requests and any operational or legal need to keep records. Account information, saved content, messages and AI conversations can remain stored until removed through available controls or an applicable request. Backups, transaction records and records needed to address abuse or legal obligations may remain after removal from an active feature.
We use technical and access controls to support the service, but no website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed secure. Keep your account credentials private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
6. Children and family features
The site includes activity-monitoring features that can record visits and actions, as described above. Those features are not a guarantee of child safety or a replacement for appropriate parental supervision. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review the information and the relevant account.
7. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the service or its practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. For questions about this policy or how information is handled, email vansworld1987@gmail.com.
